CSF Quarterly Briefing: July 2024

5 August 2024

Watch our Quarterly Briefing on key trans-Tasman and Global Sustainable Finance Developments featuring Jo Kelly, Chief Executive of CSF and Gina Morrissey, Senior Manager, Climate Change and Sustainability Services, EY Oceania.

The Sustainable Finance landscape shifts quickly. In New Zealand, 2024 has seen the first mandatory climate disclosures and key recommendations for a New Zealand sustainable finance taxonomy. The Government has committed to aligning sustainable finance frameworks with Australia, which is pushing ahead with its Future Made in Australia Act, Sustainable Finance Roadmap and a bid to host COP31 in 2026.

Across Asia Pacific, key developments have included the launch of the Singapore-Asia Taxonomy for Sustainable Finance and the updated ASEAN Taxonomy, both aimed at harmonizing standards and boosting green investments.

CSF has a mandate and expectation from its partners to track and convey key international developments. EY already does this through its comprehensive quarterly newsletter.

CSF and EY have partnered to bring the breadth and depth of the EY newsletter and thought leadership to the CSF network of >1300 sustainable finance professionals and Government representatives.

Objective
