The Centre for Sustainable Finance (CSF) is pleased to announce new partnerships with Morningstar Sustainalytics and Rauawa, advancing its mission to accelerate sustainable finance in Aotearoa New Zealand.
Morningstar Sustainalytics is a global leader in independent ESG research, ratings, and analytics, providing investors with insights into companies’ environmental, social, and governance risks and performance.
Jo Kelly, Chief Executive of the Centre for Sustainable Finance, welcomed the partnership, saying:
“We’re delighted to partner with Morningstar Sustainalytics, who are exceptionally well placed to support our efforts to bring world-class investment insights into a New Zealand context.”
Jono Broome, Head of APAC Client Advisory, Morningstar Sustainalytics, says:
“Morningstar Sustainalytics is proud to support the Centre for Sustainable Finance in its mission, and we hope this partnership will strengthen the data-driven foundations needed to advance a more sustainable and resilient economy for Aotearoa.”
CSF is also proud to welcome Rauawa as an Associate Partner.
Founded by the National Iwi Chairs Forum, Rauawa is a Māori-led Financial Intermediary focused on removing structural barriers that limit Māori access to capital.
Kelly says the partnership reflects a shared commitment to long-term resilience and sustainable economic growth:
“The Māori economy offers significant advantages for New Zealand on the global stage. Rauawa and CSF both aim to drive sustainable, long-term growth and investment into a more resilient and equitable economy and society. We deeply value the exchange of knowledge, expertise, and connections that underpin this partnership.”
These partnerships strengthen CSF’s ability to advance a finance system that delivers positive outcomes for people, communities, and the environment.
