Marketing Coordinator

We’re hiring a part time Marketing Coordinator to support the Director of Stakeholder Engagement & Communications in ensuring sustainable finance stakeholders (Government, financial market participants) receive timely, clear and professional communications and insights related to sustainable finance in Aotearoa New Zealand and globally.

Job Description

Position: Marketing Coordinator

Type: Part time, 16 hours per week, flexible

Location: New Zealand (Hybrid or remote)

Reports to: Director, Stakeholder Engagement & Communications

Salary band: $65,000 per annum Full time equivalent ($26,000 pro rata for 16 hours per week)

Position Overview

The Marketing Coordinator supports the Director of Stakeholder Engagement & Communications in ensuring sustainable finance stakeholders (Government, financial market participants) receive timely, clear and professional communications and insights related to sustainable finance in Aotearoa New Zealand and globally.

This is a great role for a digital media and marketing professional who wants to use the power of communication to address climate change and make Aotearoa New Zealand more resilient and sustainable.  Key areas of responsibility include:

  1. Brand guardianship

  2. Content creation and social media management

  3. Community coordination

 

Key Responsibilities

1.     Brand guardianship (20% of the role)

  • Evolve, implement and safeguard the Centre’s brand and visual identity

  • Support the Director, Stakeholder Engagement & Communications, to prepare visually compelling, accurate and clear communications materials

  • Ensure consistent and accurate presentation of CSF materials and channels, including reports, policy briefs, website and social media content to support the CSF brand and reputation

  • Update the refreshed CSF website in line with website and brand guidelines

 

2.     Content creation and social media management (60% of the role)

  • Design and publish reports, policy briefs, website and linkedin content

  • Support with preparation of presentation and webinar materials and assets eg. slide decks

  • Prepare and manage publication of CSF newsletters and industry briefing materials

  • Support with delivery of workshops and online meetings and webinars

  • Manage the CSF website and social media channels – ensuring they are up to date and easy to navigate

 3.     Community coordination (20% of the role)

  • Carefully administer, control and update lists and community relationship management (CRM) processes

  • Make recommendations on CRM best practice, tools and approaches

  • Ensure integration and alignment of stakeholder engagement tools across various working groups, programs and projects

  • Support the Director, Stakeholder Engagement & Communications, to foster, engage and expand the CSF network and visibility

 

Skills and experience:

  • Must have practical experience in community management, content creation, or digital marketing

  • Graphic design experience and training

  • Strong writing skills and attention to detail

  • Experience working with content management systems (CMS), Canva, Adobe, MS365, and campaign management platforms eg. Mailchimp

  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills

 

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent in digital media, graphic design, digital design or related field

  • Ability to work part time

  • Eligible to work in New Zealand
