Webinar: Taxonomy insights from both sides of the Tasman

The Centre recently convened a series of taxonomy workshops, in partnership with the Ministry for the Environment, with support from EY. These discussions enabled us to collate stakeholder insights into the role of government and key considerations in developing a sustainable finance taxonomy for Aotearoa New Zealand, including alignment with Australia as outlined in the Ministers’ joint statement last week.

This work forms part of our priority Sustainable Finance Roadmap recommendation 11: Standards & Pathways: Sustainable standards be created for the purposes of providing objective definitions of sustainable activities in Aotearoa NZ for investment, lending and insurance.
